what is imgoing2?

imgoing2 is a social concert discovery app. It lets you track upcoming shows you're interested in or attending, and see what events your friends are going to. We do not sell tickets — we link to the original ticketing platforms.

what data we collect

• Phone number — used only to verify your identity via a one-time SMS code. We do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.
• Profile information — display name, bio, and profile photo that you optionally provide.
• Event activity — events you mark as interested, going, or attended.
• Posts and photos — comments and concert photos you post on events, shown to the audience you choose (public or friends only).
• Followed artists — artists you choose to follow for event recommendations.
• Friend connections — the list of users you've connected with. Friends are added by phone number or invite link.
• Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications, we store a device token to deliver them. You can revoke this at any time in your profile settings.

how we use your data

• To authenticate you via SMS one-time codes
• To show you upcoming events based on your city and followed artists
• To show your friends which events you're interested in or attending (and vice versa)
• To send push notifications about friend activity and new shows from artists you follow
• To remember your preferences (city, notification settings)

what we don't do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your phone number for marketing messages
• We do not share your personal information with advertisers
• We do not use your data to build advertising profiles
• SMS messages from us are limited to authentication codes only
• SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes

data sharing

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the app:

• Twilio — to send SMS authentication codes. Your phone number is transmitted to Twilio for this purpose only.
• Railway — our backend infrastructure provider where your data is stored.
• Vercel — our frontend hosting provider.
• Spotify (optional) — if you choose to import your followed artists from Spotify, we request read-only access to your Spotify follows. We store only the artist names, not your Spotify credentials or any other Spotify data.

None of these providers receive your data for marketing purposes.

what other users can see

Your event activity (going / interested) is visible to your friends on imgoing2. Your display name is visible to anyone with your invite link. Your phone number is never displayed to other users.

data retention & deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app: go to your profile and tap delete account. This immediately removes your profile, posts, photos, RSVPs, and friend connections. You can also request deletion through the feedback form.
